Success Story: Poland’s first production-grade LFC connection with PSE and the development of an automated energy trading environment for Ekovoltis

A groundbreaking project in the energy market – we were the first in Poland to launch a live connection between the LFC node and the Polish Power Grid system.

Transition Technologies-Systems, in cooperation with Ekovoltis, has implemented a project unique on a national scale—becoming the first company in Poland to launch a live operational connection between a remote LFC node and the Polish Power Grid system.

This solution paved the way for:

  • launch of the first units in the production model,
  • Ekovoltis’s effective entry into the Balancing Market,
  • increasing the stability of the National Power System.

The project lays the foundation for further strategic cooperation. In the next stage, TT-Systems is delivering a comprehensive ecosystem of systems supporting energy trading and management, including a CTRM platform (LUXtrade), a data integration system (Energy Link), unit control capabilities, and communication tools for interacting with generators.

Business impact:

  • full automation of commercial and technical processes,
  • optimization of energy portfolio management (including renewables and energy storage),
  • increasing the efficiency of participation in the wholesale market and balancing services.

  • A digital PABX communication system providing telephone connectivity between Volunteer Fire Department (OSP) dispatch centers and the local operator.
  • Design and construction of feeder bays at an electrical substation for connecting the power output from an energy storage system.
  • Full implementation lifecycle: from design, through prefabrication and assembly of all required components, on-site installation, and system testing (FAT, SAT), to service and maintenance.
