The Nomination Forecast module is used to forecast the nominations of underground gas storage facilities or the transmission network users, utilizing advanced forecasting models (linear and neural networks). The created models make it possible to estimate the expected value of nominations for long time horizons (up to a year), which can be used in long-term management of the installation operation.

The result of the application is the forecasted nomination, presented in weekly granularity along with the model’s confidence interval. The application user has the ability to compare the obtained results with real data and analyze them based on a number of statistical data provided by the system. The module can be used to forecast variables other than gas demand by developing and using an adequate forecasting model.
